Water and Wastewater Operator-in-Training

Under the direction of the designated service area supervisor, who may or may not be on site, operate
and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution and wastewater collection
systems. Perform maintenance of equipment associated with these facilities. You will be responsible for
your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules
and Regulations and AFNWA’s Occupational Health and Safety Program.
